Adopt a Tree Program

Rotaractors as they joined the cause for a greener environment. They adopted tree seedlings which they'll serve as its parents. Periodically, they are asked on the progress and condition of their adopted tree seedlings. They exchange information, observations and thoughts about it. They were even asked to name their adopted seedlings. This activity will also strengthen the sense of responsibility through tree parenting.

1st Meeting RY 2013 2014

Among their agenda are: Signing of agreement for Sister Club with Rotaract Club of Freeport Zone (Subic) Induction of Officers and Gala Night Future Projects of the Club

2nd Philippine Model Congress

Three Rotaractors from Nueva Ecija were chosen to represent the province in the upcoming 2nd Philippine Model Congress which will be held on J uly 27-28, 2013 at the Philippine Senate, GSIS Building, Pasay City . The event aims to create bills and resolutions through selected youths from various places in the country which the elected senators and district representatives may consider to pass during the 16th Congress.

Abot Alam!

On June 25, 2013, the National Youth Commission (NYC) in partnership with the Provincial Youth Development Council of Nueva Ecija (PYDC-NE) launched the Abot Alam Project in the province. Commissioner-at-Large Kit Cruz and Executive Director Shierwin Taay of NYC spearheaded the orientation by sharing their knowledge on youth and presenting the project rationale among the participants, mostly composed of Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, Government Agency Officials and Non-Government Organization Representatives including the Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City . The Abot Alam Project is an inter-agency initiative to gather data on out-of-school youths (OSYs) and motivate them to go back to educational system to finish short term or long term courses to lead them into more stable and sustaining jobs and opportunities for their future.

2nd Meeting and Fellowship

Rotaractors held their 2nd Meeting and Fellowship at the Rotary Clubhouse on June 21, 2013, Friday, to tackle important agenda specially on increasing public awareness about Rotary and Rotaract, the upcoming induction and inauguration ceremony of the Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City, and other future endeavors of the club . Rotarians from the sponsoring club, Rotary Club of Cabanatuan (Mother Club), were also present. Secretary Rtn. Albert San Gabriel and President Rtn. Perry Modesto shared their knowledge, expertise, and  impact of Rotary International in the communities  to the so called "future Rotarians". They likewise inspired the Rotaractors to be Rotaractors "by heart" and not "by name." Charter President Rtr. Edisen Mamauag presided over the meeting. A total of 11 Rotaractors were present during the said meeting and fellowship. He challenged all his fellow Rotaractors to, "inspire more Novo Ecinao Youths to engage in Rotaract

Adjudged as Novo Ecijanos  who manifest selfless dedication for the province of Nueva Ecija, three Rotaractors were hailed together with other youths as awardees for the The Outstanding Young Men of Nueva Ecija 2013 on June 14. Indeed, selfless service for countrymen yields  to something positive.

CONGRATULATIONS! RTR. EDISEN FLORES MAMAUAG Charter President Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City The Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan City, together with 35 other youths from various provinces in the country, represented the nation as Philippine Youth Ambassador in the recently concluded Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) 2.0 Program held in Narita, Tokyo and other key prefectures of Japan on May 25 - June 2, 2013. More than 300 Youth Ambassadors from all over the Southeast Asian Countries joined hands together as they learned the significance and effects of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Integration by the year 2015 through various activities organized and borne by Government of Japan. They also created action plans which may help spread knowledge and understanding about the AEC. C.P.
